Kelly Sloan releases her third studio album BIG DEAL at Burdock June 22, 2016.

Big Deal was recorded at the Echo Chamber in Halifax by Charles Austin and was co-produced by Kelly Sloan and by singer-songwriter Mike ONeill (The Inbreds). Kelly chose the rhythm section; Adam LeDrew & Jordan Murphy, based on their work in Halifax psychedelic pop band Walrus (currently touring with Wintersleep). She invited Curtis Chaffey of Ottawa soul group The Split to perform lead guitar and lend backing vocals. This untested combination of musicians proved to be an inspired choice and yielded deadly results.

The album rolls out a variety of sounds from stripped-down folk to 60s French pop to soul to indie rock to space-country but all maintain a cohesiveness, that continues to define Kelly as a unique songwriter with a sound all her own.
